Herbal Medicine Events for 2016
Herbal Medicine Events Local herbalist, Rhiannon Evans, (BSc Fellow of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists) runs a series of events and workshops each year.
Past Events
These have included:-

A Midsummer Meadows Workshop for the Workers Education Association (WEA) which explained how some plants may be used as medicinal remedies. It involved a short, gentle walk to identify growing hedgerow plants and learn about their medicinal uses. Time was spent looking at plant structures to help people to tell the difference between plants which look similar. Participants also made a simple remedy to take home and were given an understanding of the dosage and Health and Safety issues.

An Introduction to Herbal Medicine Workshop at The National Herb Centre in Warmington, Warwickshire.

Annual Herb Walk at Broughton Grounds Farm. This included a leisurely-paced walk around the wildflower meadow at Broughton Grounds Farm, North Newington, Banbury. It included refreshments and an introduction to the farm.
